Power Star Entertainment’s THINK TANK Unveils 'Outlaws Untold,' a Western Thriller About Seven Women Outlaws

Adapted from a manuscript in development with Houston Book Publishing, the film treatment follows seven women fighting railroad corruption in 1880 Wyoming.

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Power Star Entertainment’s International Creative THINK TANK has unveiled “Outlaws Untold: A Reckoning on the Wyoming Frontier,” a Western action-thriller film treatment centered on seven women who become outlaws to resist a railroad’s campaign of corruption, violence and land seizures.

Adapted from a manuscript by Dakota Joe Chauncey, PC Matheson and Nick Bronze, the project brings a women-led resistance story to a frontier shaped by railroad expansion, political conflict and compromised law enforcement. The manuscript is under development with Houston Book Publishing. Power Star Entertainment is inviting studios and producers to collaborate on bringing the story to the screen.

Set in Wyoming Territory in 1880, “Outlaws Untold” follows Clara Voss, a homesteader who loses her husband, her home and her faith in the law after the Sweetgrave Railroad uses forged deeds, bought officials and armed enforcers to displace families. Refusing to surrender, she joins six women whose losses and determination unite them as the Sweetgrave Seven.

Their campaign begins with a raid on a payroll train carrying money intended to finance mass evictions. The women return the funds to families facing removal, but a locked dispatch case reveals a more consequential discovery: evidence of fraudulent land transfers, concealed murders and officials working to advance the railroad’s interests.

What begins as an act of defiance becomes a fight to expose a conspiracy threatening entire settlements. As the Seven intercept deed registries, seize weapons bound for company troops and challenge corrupt officials, the railroad retaliates with private soldiers, paid informants and fabricated warrants. Its campaign to brand them as murderous bandits tests both their survival and their loyalty to one another.

Hunting the women is Marshal Jonah Creed, Clara’s former ally with whom she shares an unresolved romantic history. Once convinced that his badge could restrain abuses of power, Jonah begins discovering that his orders, superiors and the warrants against Clara have been compromised. His pursuit forces him to confront the divide between enforcing the law and serving justice.

The conflict builds toward a dangerous operation aboard the heavily guarded Red Mesa Express during a blizzard. With evidence of the conspiracy at stake, the Seven must combine their skills in strategy, infiltration, telegraph communications, medical care and combat. Clara and Jonah face decisions that could determine whether the truth survives.

The treatment explores the human cost of expansion through characters whose resistance carries personal consequences. The women’s alliance depends on disagreement, sacrifice and shared responsibility, placing their choices at the center of a story about land, power and who gets to shape the history of the American West.
